ZERO CARBON FOOTPRINT - MANURE PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY

EcoSpace Engineering Ltd. proudly introduces the MILINATOR system, a new patented recycling technology which utilizes insect larvae to process organic waste. A small-scale version of this process was first developed for the Soviet Space Program, but it has now been adapted for large-scale automated manure processing, suitable for modern industrialized animal farms.

No chemicals are used in this process, no residues are left to be disposed of, and no raw manure is ever exposed to the outside environment. The entire process lasts only 4 (four) days, transforming raw manure into chemically stable, high-grade organic fertilizer (CYCLORGANIC) and protein-rich animal feed. The end products are pathogen free, because the fly larvae used in our processing, kill pathogens on contact and feed on E-coli & Salmonella bacteria, eliminating a repeat of the Walkerton Disaster and food contamination.

MILINATOR technology simultaneously solves the growing issues of animal waste disposal, demand for protein-rich animal feed, and the growing demand for organic fertilizers. Also, there is no air or water pollution, no fly infestation and no acrid smell coming from the decomposing raw manure. The process is so fast, it leaves no time for decomposition to occur or for flies to hatch.

The use of MILINATOR technology would make animal farming an ecologically friendly and sustainable industry, with a huge positive impact on the environment. The MILINATOR Technology would make animal farming an ecologically friendly and sustainable industry, with a huge positive impact on the environment. MILINATOR Technology is an environmentalist's dream come true. It does not merely reduce pollution from Manure Management, it completely eliminates it.

The MILINATOR story, by inventor Ivan Milin, President

THE IDEA

In the 1980s, the Soviet Space Program developed a miraculous new type of fertilizer that could triple crop yields and was also chemically stable and did not produce any polluting gases. This "super-fertilizer" was thus ideally suited for long-duration space missions that had to grow their own food. Unfortunately, this super-fertilizer could only be produced in very small, manually-processed batches, which made it unsuitable for large-scale use here on Earth. Until now.

The Milinator process is an innovative new way to manufacture this super-fertilizer, using large-scale, automated production. To create the super-fertilizer, raw chicken manure needs to be fully and completely digested by housefly maggots. This seems fairly simple, but full digestion is actually very difficult to achieve. The temperature, humidity, and ventilation all need to be maintained at precise levels throughout the processing chamber. This required numerous technological innovations and was the main reason this super-fertilizer went unutilized for so long.

A single Milinator plant can process the entire output of even the largest chicken farm. And it generates no pollution whatsoever. The same properties that made this super-fertilizer ideally suited for use aboard spaceships, now makes it ideally suited for use aboard "Spaceship Earth".

THE PROBLEM

Eggs and poultry are an important food source for billions of people around the world, but this industry creates massive amounts of manure that heavily pollutes the air, water and soil. Raw chicken manure rapidly breaks down to form highly polluting gases, like nitrous oxide, which is a Green House Gas that has 298 times the global warming potential of carbon dioxide. Chicken manure is also spread onto farmland, where a large portion of it quickly washes away to pollute local watersheds. This causes all sorts of environmental damage, including the creation of "dead zones" that are devoid of fish and other aquatic life. A prime example of this is Chesapeake Bay, where a large portion of the nutrient pollution comes from chicken manure. Unfortunately, the most common way to dispose of chicken manure is to spread it onto farmland. Everyone knows this causes massive environmental damage, but this practice continues all over the world because there is simply no other alternative. Until now.

THE SOLUTION

The Milinator process converts raw chicken manure into a chemically stable, organic super-fertilizer that doesn't release any polluting gases and doesn't readily wash out of the soil to harm local watersheds. It can also be stored for years without breaking down, so it can be marketed all over the country and even shipped overseas if desired. This would effectively solve the problem of how to dispose of ecologically harmful chicken manure, while still continuing to provide ample food for a growing population. Watersheds impacted by farm runoff would finally be able to start healing themselves. Even the largest dead zones would come back to life if the constant influx of chicken manure were to be cut off.

But that's not the only impact that Milinator can have on the environment. Our super-fertilizer was tested by the IFDC (International Fertilizer Development Center) and found to have an astounding 300% greater crop yield, compared to artificial fertilizer. Milinator could help reduce world hunger and save many natural habitats from being converted into farmland. And by providing an alternative to artificial fertilizers it could also reduce our dependence on fossil fuels, since that is what artificial fertilizer is made from.
